A good user experience means customers can not only get the task done with a minimal of fuss but that they enjoy the experience, become loyal customers, and even advocates for your product and brand. Yet compromises in product design and project delivery abound and sadly we can't have it all. So when it's time to tighten the belt or get it out the door, are there aspects of the user experience that can be scarified without affecting the outcome?
The goal of this virtual talk is to provide you with a way of evaluating different types of user experience compromises with the aim of helping you make better decisions on what. It will cover:
- why user experience matters
- some UX principles as a background
- the types of compromises that product owners or project managers face
- real world examples of how these compromises affect or don't affect the overall user experience
There will be time afterwards for questions
