What's it all about?

This story showcases how AB Lime is conserving biodiversity and reducing their carbon footprint by reducing coal usage and utilising landfill gas. Techweek TV will interview two young people, an environmental field officer and a conservation ranger, who are passionate about their careers at AB Lime. Learn about some of the tech they are using for predator control and environmental monitoring.

This Techweek TV session will be interesting to members of the general public, community environmental groups, as well as young people interested in environmental careers.

Ollie works as a biodiversity ranger for AB Lime protecting and conserving one of the last remnant rata/broadleaf/podocarp forests found in Central Southland. His day to day role involves many exciting projects; a few include carrying out intensive pest control, monitoring and restoration
