Now is not the time to stall your marketing. Whether your company is one of the
fortunate ones to have experienced increased growth, or if you’ve been knocked sideways
by the crisis, to maintain and drive market share you need to continue delivering
successful and engaging campaigns.
But how do you compete with the
vast amount of noise already out there to achieve your goals of local and international
growth?
The answer is simple: good storytelling. Good stories make
things relevant and make people curious. They inspire us to do things. They entertain.
They make people want to share and they make us feel part of
something.
Brands who can do storytelling are better placed to
market themselves successfully to their customers during a crisis, and those who do it
well not only fend off the competition but also significantly increase engagement,
loyalty and sales over the longer term.
In this session, we will
cover:
Branch Road and Movio will discuss the vital role good storytelling plays in
today’s marketing campaigns, and explore simple tactics to help you start understanding
what your digital story is and how you tell it right.

get audiences to care about stories and content. He won national awards for
journalism and national awards for training too. As a communication

– helping them define their stories and getting people to care about what
they have to say.
Working with ITN and other national news outlets, Simon spent seven years as
Group Director of News at GCap Media and Global Radio. In the last five
years he’s delivered results for many large global brands across finance,
consumer, health and tech.
Over the last eight years, Kelly has established herself as an integrated

them to the right audiences in different and creative ways. Kelly has headed
all kinds of campaigns; from launching start-up brands in the retail
industry, to securing national press coverage for financial services
organisations and coordinating European flagship events for clients.
Now heading up the Branch Road, JAPAC office in Auckland, New Zealand,
Kelly’s B2B technology specialism has grown to see her lead in customer
advocacy storytelling and video production for brands, and is responsible
for ensuring her clients engage effectively with the right audiences through
