Innovations in Cyber Security & Cloud Engineering

Learn how the University of Waikato is helping people and organisations protect themselves online and leverage AI-powered clouds

What's it all about?

Cloud technology and cyber security play a crucial role in enabling us to conduct business online in a safe and secure way.

COVID 19 has brought this into sharp focus with a heavy reliance on cloud-based communication tools like Zoom and Google apps, giving us the flexibility to work effectively from the comfort of our own homes.

Waikato is home to some of the world's leading experts in AI, cloud technology and cyber security. This session will provide an overview of some of the state-of-the-art research they are currently leading, like cloud applications they've developed in partnership with local industry and how they are working to improve the performance and sustainability of cloud and edge computing systems more generally.
