Jeannine works at the intersection of corporate innovation, entrepreneurship and technology. She is leading Beca’s New Ventures Team, which amplifies the company’s culture of entrepreneurship, and accelerates the commercialisation of new products and services by enabling its employees to act on promising new innovative ideas and piloting external startup technology. She has extensive experience assisting companies to internationalise. Prior to Beca Jeannine was Head of Trade for infrastructure and transport at the British High Commission in New Zealand, and she founded the social enterprise, Changeability.
Working at the intersection of infrastructure, industry and innovation, Danusia works with expert teams to change what is possible. In her role as Head of New Ventures, she is working within Transpower to elevate performance through the integration of innovation and acceleration methodologies. Drawing from eclectic career spanning export education, manufacturing and fuel supply it’s an exciting time to be working in the electricity sector, for its key role in our energy transitions.
Prior to joining Fletcher Building in 2019, Lisbeth was Executive Director
International at UniServices, the commercialisation company of the
University of Auckland, where she was responsible for the international
portfolio of activities serving multinational clients and government
agencies.
Before returning to New Zealand in 2012, Lisbeth spent nearly 14 years with
Bekaert, global market leader in steel wire and steel cord products
headquartered in Belgium. At Bekaert, Lisbeth held a number of senior roles
including in corporate strategy, M&A, business development, and R&D
management. During her last years with the company, Lisbeth was Director
Research & Development based in China.
Lisbeth holds a PhD in Engineering from The University of Auckland, a MSc in
Engineering and a Postgraduate Degree in Business Studies from the
University of Leuven in Belgium, and completed the Executive General
Management program at CEDEP-INSEAD in France. Lisbeth is non-executive
director for NorthPower Ltd.
Rob stepped into the R&D Executive role at Gallagher in 2008 after
holding a variety of senior R&D management positions in New
Zealand-based global technology companies including Navman.
Rob is an experienced Executive with extensive international experience in
operations and R&D management. With his unique combination of
Engineering and International Business Strategy qualifications and
experience, Rob specialises in aligning Research, Development and Innovation
activities with business strategy and developing Research and Development as
a strategic capability for sustainable growth and competitive advantage in
International Business.
In addition to his role at Gallagher, Rob is also a director of SODA Inc.
Ltd. A wholly-owned subsidiary of Wintec, WaikatoLink Ltd, the research
commercialisation office of the University of Waikato, and MyApiary
Limited.
Rob is a current Chartered member of the Institute of Directors and also
serves as Chair of a Cambridge-based Charitable Trust.
