Games for Good is about inspiring young people to act as change-makers and problem solvers through effective game design.
The challenge is open to all New Zealand Year 7-13 students who will work in teams to create game-based solutions to local and global current issues.
The focus is on idea creation. 'Paper' prototypes as well as working prototypes will be accepted for submission.
Dunedin is a Centre of Digital Excellence and has a wealth of mentors to support the participants with motivation and expertise. Throughout the week we will also have guest presentations from people in the New Zealand gaming industry to give you expert advice and to give you insight into jobs and careers in the industry.
This event is funded by the Ministry of Education and attendees will be asked to complete a 60 sec survey (roughly 8 questions)
