Techweek TV: Mint - A New Zealand Cleantech Investment Story

Close to 50 million tonnes of e-waste is being produced globally each year but one New Zealand company has figured out how to turn that trash into treasure.

What's it all about?

Cleantech is an area of massive global opportunity for New Zealand companies. In this NZTE-hosted session we talk to Mint Innovation CEO and co-founder Will Barker about the e-waste opportunity his company has tapped into, what it takes to succeed as a cleantech startup, and how deep tech companies can tell a good story to attract investors.

We’re also talking to one of Mint Innovation’s investors – David Beard, Partner at the New Zealand venture capital firm Movac – about what makes a company a compelling investment proposition.
