What's it all about?
Hosted by the Tauranga Chamber of Commerce, this thought-provoking event will bring together local business leaders in the tech and innovation space to ask the big picture questions of their industry and beyond. In a post COVID-19 world we will find out where they see the future, or how they would suggest we could use this situation to best advantage and build from here, to use this crisis as an opportunity to think differently. Discussion points could include what the region's assets are, how we will do business in the future (and with whom) and how we could operate moving forward.
Hear their stories, gain their insights and discover their vision for the future of the Bay of Plenty region. Expect robust discussions and ideas that challenge the status quo.

David believes in the power of people and technology to grow the economy. He joined Xero in 2019, and is excited to continue his passion for helping small businesses thrive. David has an extensive background in financial markets working at the Bank of Scotland, National Australia Bank and Commonwealth Bank. During his eighth year tenure at ASB Bank, David held roles in global transaction banking, strategy, product and business ventures. He founded Plus by ASB, now re-launched as Vonto, an innovative platform for New Zealand small business owners to help make better business decisions based on data-driven insights. In 2016, David was awarded a fellowship at the Institute of Finance Professionals (INFINZ).
Dan has worked in technology for over 15 years for large global companies
including Fonterra, British Airways and Archer Daniels Midland (A Fortune
500 Company). Dan is a futurist, inspired by the possible applications of
technology to create strategic advantage, engage customers and reduce
waste.
As Head of Digital Innovation and Enablement, Dan is responsible for leading
an innovative team of professionals in technology strategy and execution for
Comvita (NZX:CVT).
Georgia is the Founder of Babysitters Club, a service that provides parents
across New Zealand with interactive and highly experienced sitters and
nannies, using technology to disrupt the market. They are highly innovative,
original and growing rapidly.
Georgia's personal mission is to create a community where every
interaction is an opportunity to have a positive impact on children's
lives, where parents can live in freedom, and sitters and nannies can gain
influential work opportunities.
