A panel of speakers will engage in virtual discussions describing their HealthTech journey,
and touch on what it means to be a women working in the HealthTech industry. Bioengineering
Doctoral Candidate Laura Pedofsky will facilitate the event, and there will be ample time
for Q&A’s from our members.

Speakers
Dr. Elizabeth Berryman has a wealth of experience in the health sector, starting out as a Registered Nurse, before becoming a Medical Doctor. After founding a peer-mentoring program for medical students, she is is passionate about supporting people’s mental wellbeing with digital tools.
Dr Gabriella Lindberg works at the interface of biology, chemistry, material science and technology, in pursuit of a blueprint to bridge the gap between engineered and native tissues using light activated hydrogels and 3D-biofabricated constructs.
Kate Rhind is an experienced founder and CEO of Healthpoint Ltd, an innovative, award winning New Zealand company that provides cloud-based software solutions to support and improve the effectiveness of interactions and decision making in the health and SME sector.
Laura has a background in Mechanical Engineering, Dairy Science, and is now on a mission to help women who suffer from urinary incontinence to strengthen their pelvic floor muscles! Post PhD Laura is looking to pursue a career in the booming FemTech industry.
